Pink lips, curly hair!

My make up for this picture was a strong pink lipstick and a bold eye.

The products I used were no7 primer

Then I used benefit highbeam mixed in with my clinque super moisture foundation shade 6 and 4 mixed.

I then used maybelline dream matte blush and a benefit blusher on top.

I applied Christian Diors lipstick.

Loreal rouge caresse lipstick review - why to buy!

I went shopping today and got loads of different make up, scrubs, jewellery and clothes. So im going too do a review on all the beauty bits but I wanted to write the review about loreals lipstick first because I just love it!
Here it is!

Cost and Packaging
It is priced at £ 7.99 which is on the low side, which is a bonus. It's in a good quality packaging almost exactly the same as Christian diors moisture lipstick I purchased recently.

Shades
They have a great colour collection as well shades from pale pink to light golden browns. I got the lightest shade 01 and this is the part I love most about this product is it isn't sheer so what colour on the bottle is what colour goes on your lips.

When it's on
It feels silky soft and doesn't show up any marks, dry patches or lines on your lips. I find it so hard to find lipsticks that do that without a lipgloss!

Wearing time
The lasting time to this lipstick is about 2 hours before it needs reapplying, I also think that's reasonable. When it's on it feels really moisturizings.

I will purchase this time and time again!

At home glycolic acid peel - update

If any of you read my blog regular you will know I did a glycolic acid peel at home last week. I'm going to do another 1 again this week and do it for six weeks then not again for six months.

Update

Well my skin is looking so much better and my make up application is so much easier, my make up last all day and even hours later in the hot sun it still looks like it's freshly applied. I think it's to do with the peel because it never use to last that long and I haven't used different products! So im really pleased with it. Will now do my second peel and shall update you all next week!

How to use a foundation brush

Getting the hang of using a foundation brush can be tricky but after you've got it right it leaves your foundation perfectly done. I use dirty works foundation brush its pretty cheap but good quality, getting a good quality brush is a must, mac or Bobbi brown have great brushes.

When you've applied your foundation to the back of your hand,  just dip the brush in to it to get half way of the bristles covered and starting using downward strokes on the cheeks, the nose then the chin, then dab your full face with the flat part and then dab your forehead with what evers left on the brush.

Why to buy - benefit high beam and posie/cheek lip tint review

Benefit high beam highlighter & posie lip and cheek tint review

I've been using Benefit's High Beam Highlighter and Posie Lip tint for a while now and I love them so I'm
going to do a review, here they are pictured below.

Benefit High Beam Highlighter

I use this every time I apply my foundation, it isn't a glittery highlighter it's just like a glow one, I prefer the glow ones as they don't look over the top and have more of a natural finish. I mix this with my foundation (clinique supermoisture, I've wrote a review!) and after I've done my foundation I'll add a dot to the top of my lip, nose, forehead and the arches on my eyebrow's. I think it makes my foundation last longer and it also make's my face brighter, I really like this highlighter, it's easy to blend in and doesn't leave dry patches. I think you should give it a go!

Benefit posie lip and cheek tint

I  got a small 'tester/travel' of this in one of  Benefits Make up boxes, It included posie tint, a blusher, lip gloss, blusher brush, high beam, mirror and a booklet of make up tips for around about £25.00 pounds, I thought that was really good value for money and all the products last for ages. So the posie tint can be used for the lips and cheek, it's great for both, but I just use it more on the lips, its basically a lip stain. It lasts for hours, it doesn't show up any dry patches, its almost like a primer/base as well because it goes really well with other lipsticks, it fills in them small lines, its just great and it doesn't dry your lips out. I highly recommend it, it's 1 of my favourite products!

Chemical Peel- glycolic acid peel at home review

At home Gylcolic Acid Peel review

What is a glycolic Acid Peel and what is it for?

Glycolic Acid is derived from sugar cane and is used to remove dead skin from your face and or body to make your skin smooth and bright. It is commonly used to treat acne scarring, skin aging or sun damaged skin.

Where I bought mine from

So I recently bought a chemical peel of ebay, I know it sounds crazy, your probably thinking I'm stupid, but after doing research and watching endless youtube videos I decided to give it a go! So I went on ebay and bought a set for around about £14 pounds. I got the 30% glycolic acid, quite a mild one, It just got delivered so I did a quick test to see if it was ok and make sure it didn't burn of my skin, and  no it didn't thank god.

How I used my Gylcolic Acid Peel

So I washed my face and applied it to half of my face, with a brush that came with it. I left it on for around about 40 seconds. your meant to do about 1/2 minutes but I'm a wimp. It stung but on a chain of pain to 1-10 (10 being more painful) it was probably a 1 and a half.

                                                  Did It even work?

Yes it does, I see a difference straight away, I feel a difference as well,  my skin already looks better, my skins softer and tighter. I cant wait to continue to do my chemical peels, Im overly excited!

Heres the brand I bought of ebay!

Would I recommend it?

Yeah I would, but be careful because it is acid, always do research and always do a very small skin test.

My tips and tricks to a spot free face

How to get smooth spot free skin

I have normal skin, dry sometimes through winter but in summer it just goes back too it's 'normal' self. My skin is fairly good I barely get break outs or really oily skin, I dunno if it's to do with my cleansing routine or not, but I'll share what I do and what I don't.

no make up - clear skin (Leanne Kelly)

Firstly I'll wash my face before I apply my make up, with any face wash, any brand, I don't use a particular one.

I moisturise my face with NO7 moisturising cream/coco butter all over body cream, I'll use coco butter if I've got dry patches, I love it! Then I'll just let it dry or fan it with paper.

I'll do my make up, so fast forward to the night time, I'll take my make up off with make up remover wipes, wash my face in the bath with any face wash and that's all for that night.

I never over moisturise my face, if I do I break out, I do use NO7 mask peel now and then, probably once a month. I do also make a home remedy milk powder face mask and do that every 2 weeks, I've done a how to make it, so make sure you have a quick read, but thats all I actually do!

My tips

We all panic when we see a spot but as soon as you see it put toothpaste on it, it heels sooner and speeds up the whole process!

If you have oily skin but also dry patches just moisturise the dry parts not the full face.

Don't exfoliate, instead use the milk face mask, it leaves your skin tons softer and is also better for you!
